New Restaurants Coming to East Mountains on North 14 | Restaurants

The economy appears to looking up in the East Mountains.  At least the dining options are expanding.  Three restaurants are set to either open soon or expand.  

The first one set to open, perhaps as early as August 12, is Pete's Mexican Cantina - Home of the Half Breed, located at 12540 N. Hwy. 14, Sandia Park, previously the location of the now closed Gordons and Kokopellis.  Pete's is part of the Little Anita's and Los Cuates Restaurant family.

Also coming back to the East Mountains is Chilepenos.  They will be located at the former Mings Chinese Cuisine at 12128 State Hwy. 14 Cedar Crest.  They closed their Sandia Park restaurant in 2007.

And lastly,  moving to a new, larger location will be Sandia Crust. They are soon to be located at 12467 Hwy 14 N. Sandia Park.
